Developing skills and understanding of the game
Millfield Preparatory School hosts numerous local, county, and regional tournaments. In the autumn term the girls have the opportunity to participate in weekly training sessions. This helps to develop their basic skills and understanding of the game and provides a good grounding for the netball season in the spring term. In the netball season the girls have two sessions a week in addition to matches on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Every age group can attend the weekly practices.
Fantastic facilities
MPS has 6 netball courts and 1 indoor court. We run at least 2 teams in each year group (including U8s), with up to 5 teams when numbers permit.
Opportunities to compete at all levels
Our 13 year old girls regularly attend the U14 county trials and are very successful as 2-3 girls are consistently selected for the county. The U11A, U12A and U13A teams enter the regional netball tournaments and have been victorious in qualifying for the Nationals.
