Day Pupils
There are approximately 250 day pupils at the Prep School, which means along with the 90 pupils in the Pre-Prep, day pupils make up approximately 68% of the combined School pupil population.
Being a day pupil has many advantages, as you get all the advantages that boarders have - small class sizes, a beautiful location, access to an incredible variety of sports and activities, outstanding facilities in all areas, experienced, caring staff, fellow pupils from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures and nationalities and an impressive sculpture park to name but a few, but you also get the advantage of living at home and spending time with your family.
As a day pupil you can stay for late clubs if you wish and can get involved with as many as you want, ranging from horse riding to jewellery making. These finish at 6.15, leaving you enough time to complete your prep and spend some time with your family. You also have the opportunity to socialise with boarders during supper before going home, and can try being a weekly boarder and have a taste of what it's like to live a boarder's life.
