Ethos
Our experienced EYFS and KS1 team combine a careful blend of numeracy and literacy with a wide range of other subjects, as well as a varied selection of extra-curricular activities. Outdoor learning is given a high priority – Pre-School and Reception children enjoy weekly Forest School sessions in addition to spending much of their time outdoors. Y1 and Y2 also incorporate outdoor learning into areas of the curriculum.
Our small class sizes
Approximately 16 for the older children: 1-8 for our older Pre-School children and 1- 4 for the younger.
Partnerships with parents
Parents evening are held in the Autumn and Summer terms… The Pre-School hold an informal Open Evening in the Autumn term and a formal Parent Evening at the end of the academic year.
