P.A.C.E.

Talented and Gifted Provision

Potential Academic and Curricular Excellence (P.A.C.E.)

At Millfield Preparatory School we aim to enable all pupils to shine and to give every child the opportunity to demonstrate ability. One of the programmes that facilitate this is the P.A.C.E. programme.

Talented pupils have special requirements and these requirements need to be met. P.A.C.E. aims to identify and challenge pupils who demonstrate exceptional ability, or the potential to excel, in any area of our curriculum.

“Tens of thousands of people never find out where their talent is. Where else are they going to find out but at school?” Terry Pratchett, Author

A child’s talent may not be immediately visible, it may need to be gently prised out into the open and it will certainly need to be nurtured.
