Millfield Preparatory prides itself in bring out the best in everyone. With small class sizes and talented, enthusiastic teachers, pupils can be ensured of ongoing support in the classroom. However, there are times when additional support is necessary. At MPS we have a wide variety of people here to help you with whatever your need. The award-winning library is open throughout the School week and is an invaluable resource for all age groups. ICT is increasingly incorporated in all subjects to enhance learning.
Continuing a proud tradition of helping students with learning difficulties
The School has a well-deserved reputation for being non-selective, and accepts students with a wide range of abilities, including those with learning difficulties. The Learning Development Centre assists students with a variety of learning abilities, including dyslexia. For overseas and bilingual children who need help with English, there is the EAL Department.
PACE - Challenging pupils who demonstrate exceptional ability
The P.A.C.E. (Potential Academic and Curricular Excellence) programme identifies and challenges pupils who demonstrate exceptional ability or the potential to excel, in any area of the curriculum.
