The following summaries are concise outlines of the more detailed programmes of study and schemes of work followed by subject tutors in each department.
Schemes of Work are periodically revised to take account of changes in the curriculum that are necessitated by our own curriculum development policies. These policies may be influenced by external factors such as important research, insights from INSET courses, issues of continuity and progression from the Pre-Prep to Year Three and beyond and from MPS to Millfield, awareness of current trends in curriculum development and anticipation of future trends, changes in the National Curriculum, reports on standards and other initiatives from government departments and inspection agencies, including DCSF, QCA, OFSTED, ISI and ISCis.
