Year 8 Perform Festive Snow White Pantomime
Millfield Prep's Year 8 pupils chose a colourful comedy pantomime, Snow White, for their Christmas production this year. Written and produced by Mr Jim Boyd, Millfield Prep's academic co-ordinator along with Mrs Shelley Lacy, English teacher, Snow White loosely portrayed the fairy tale we know and love, with many twists and turns, including a village cricket match and a pantomime dame played convincingly by the head boy, Ben Lawrence. The show played for two nights to a tightly packed assembly hall, attended by family and friends of the cast. With the ‘Seven Hoodies' replacing the dwarves, an evil Baron Blister with his niece Septik and a rock-and-roll King playing Snow White's father, the audience thoroughly enjoyed the festive experience.
