Millfield Host Junior Chess Qualifier
Millfield School recently hosted the Somerset London Junior Championship chess qualifier. The event raised £300 to support the Somerset Primary Schools' Chess Association. Millfield Prep pupil, Henry Smeed, from Bridgwater, won the U9 Championships and qualified for the Finals in London, which will be held later this month.
