Police community support officers visit Millfield Pre-Prep
Two local police community support officers visited Millfield Pre-Prep last week in a brand new mobile police station.
The officers talked to all the children about being safe and advised them on how to make sure they are visible when it's dark.
Later in the week, Year 1 pupils visited the Atkinson Gallery at Millfield Senior School to view The Climate is Changing exhibition. The exhibition features 50 textile artworks from 12 countries.
Head of Pre-Prep Lynne Mitchell said: "The children enjoyed themselves during both of these activities. They learnt a great deal about safety from the police community support officers, and were fascinated by their new mobile police station.
"The trip to the Atkinson Gallery proved to be very educational and all the children loved the experience."
