Year 2 visit to the SS Great Britain
Year 2 travelled to Bristol last week to visit Brunel's ship the SS Great Britain as part of their topic on Victorian history. They became engineers, learning how his steam ship was made using iron plates and rivets, dressed up in Victorian costumes and travelled back in time to see the launch. The children all had a wonderful and informative day.
